Bowls with Borders

Do not take on crafty projects, then decide to paint the house.
It just does not work.
5 weeks down and i thought i would be simply dusting up the last remains of any presence of a painter.
Each week i think they just may make it and i will have my life back in order.
Trouble is i do not and this is what i have to show for my bowl.
Disappointed? You bet....

However, there is bound to be much loveliness at the other girls blogs, so please hop on over and check them out.

Thank you  Carol for organising the hop and your patience with me. I will complete my bowls and you will see!

These things happen to all of us at times. I'm sorry that you didn't get to complete your plan but I'm sure once they are gone you'll be back to sewing in no time.

Hope you decide to finish these. The first one was the hardest I thought.

It is very understandable that you were far too busy to complete your bowls , life can get in our way at times, your bowl is lovely all the same.

5 weeks!! I would have already hung that painter and his crew!

We repainted our whole house on the inside 2 years ago and after 10 days, they were finally finished... but I stayed on them like a rat on cheese! No slackards for me!

Robin said...

Aw, sorry for your inconvenience. I really like your bowl fabric with all the flower names! I'm gonna scour the web looking for it. Instead of a seed packet you have a seed bowl!! Well done so far!

Robin said...

Hehe, was just thinking how appropriate your blog title is right now!!

I completely understand your frustration as doing anything around the house these days takes so long. Hope things quickly resolve themselves and you can get back to sewing. From CA, USA!

Painting the house is a HUGE project! We did that this spirng and it took twice as long as we thought it would.
We'll look forward to seeing your finish later!

When the painters are gone, and the dust is cleaned up-you will have lots of time to stack your bowls. And we would love to see them then.

auntdebbiequilts said...

Your bowl is certainly intriguing. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful stack of bowls when you get your life back, which I hope happens soon. Thanks for sharing.

Hello. Have finally posted it off to you this morning. All I can say is I am really sorry for taking SO long. My sewing is no where as good as yours. It has gone air mail so the post office say it should take five days.

Thank you of being so patient.
