I thought i would give this strip block
a go
and i am loving the process
i originally thought i would just make 4 and turn this into a mini
but i love the effect so much i have decided to make a single bed quilt/throw
its amazing how far the fabric goes
loving that too
tutorial from Ashley
my first block for this round robin
i have wanted to try a simple house quilt for some time now
hoping my partner will enjoy robin hopping with my little block
quite scrappy, a little bit of upcycled lace
lots of white
i am also loving the cool wet misty mornings we
are experiencing here in the mountains
unusual for summer in this part of the world
but loving it
a view from my dining room window
...
i love waking early, enjoying a little quiet sewing time
before heading off to work
the balance in my life
hows your day planned today
enjoy and i hope you too are having some beautiful soothing weather x

The combo of fabrics in both pictures are gorgeous! I have always wanted to do quilting... it is on the list for this year... hopefully I will get to have a go :)
Those string blocks are looking lovely! I've never tried string blocks but I do have a lot of scraps, so perhaps I should!
Lovely blocks! Love to see the end result. The picture out of your window is great, calm and peaceful.
Oh this is lovely!! Pink and green is such a pretty combination of colors. I find these blocks really fun to work on and I love how they all come out having their own fun, unique quality.
